Compact CAN-based radar altimeter for precise low-altitude measurements in UAV aircrafts. Enables accurate altitude measurement and safe landing operations. Compatible with UAV Navigation Autopilot.
System Function
The altimeter is designed to provide direct and reliable measurement of absolute height above ground for aircraft operating in low-altitude regimes. It is typically used in autonomous landing or terrain-following.
The unit functions as an onboard sensor located on the bottom of the UAV/aircraft, delivering real-time altitude data to the flight control system, mission computer or navigation system.
Due to its high accuracy (± 0.02m), compact size and low power consumption, it is a highly prefered solution for UAVs that require precise measurement in harsh operating conditions.
